I learned from throwing my leg against the wall every single day

Whenever you search for something on the internet, Google brings up a lot of weird things. During this research, I came across a photo of leg raises that help relieve lower body stress. It wasn’t hard and promise it was worth a try!
To try this new technique, I grabbed a yoga mat and put my feet up against a wall. It was really easy to get into the asana, even though my dog was reluctant to move and constantly sniffed me to see what was going on.
Different websites suggested different durations, but I chose the 10-minute version because it didn’t take that much time. I turned on some meditation music I downloaded from iTunes and closed my eyes.
A leg on the wall, called Viparita Karani, is said to relieve the stress of sitting all day, which I am very guilty of. Curious to know how it works, I realized that when we lie upside down, the body releases fluids that accumulate in the legs, putting pressure on them. These wastes are not easily excreted from our bodies, but drainage becomes easier with this asana. Not only that, but it also helps create a positive circulating flow in your heart.
After doing this for a week, I realized that it helps relieve tension not only in my lower body, but also in my neck and back.
Eventually I started to enjoy the time and tried to focus on the music and nothing else.
Sitting is the new smoking, and all of us working professionals need to remove that stress from our bodies. I highly recommend it to all tradesmen who sit a lot.
Important: keep your buttocks close to the wall and try to create a 90-degree angle. You will feel the hamstrings stretching.
