REMOVE BLACKHEADS WITH ONE SIMPLE AND EFFECTIVE TRICK

What can you do?
Blackheads are one of the most common forms of acne. Although people with oily skin are more prone to blackheads, anyone can get them.

It occurs when dead skin cells and excess oil (sebum) from the sebaceous glands combine to clog pores.

Unlike whiteheads, which form closed pores, blackheads have an open surface that results in dark-colored oxidation.

While it may be tempting to try to pinch or push a blackhead, it can cause unnecessary scarring and other damage to your skin.

“The good news is that there are a number of over-the-counter products with effective ingredients that can exfoliate, soften, and even clear blackheads,” says Allison Britt Kimmins, MD, MPH.

  1. Clean with salicylic acid
Look for over-the-counter (OTC) products that contain salicylic acid instead of benzoyl peroxide.

Salicylic acid breaks down pore-clogging material, making it a preferred treatment for blackheads and whiteheads.

excess oil
dead skin cells
By choosing a daily cleanser that contains salicylic acid, you can remove these elements in addition to:

everyday dirt
oil
make up
Although you still need to wash your face twice a day, try using a cleanser that contains salicylic acid once a day. Britt Kimmins notes that salicylic acid is especially good for people with dry skin.

You can use it only at night and use your regular cleanser in the morning. As your skin gets used to the product, you can use it both morning and night.

Many people are sensitive to salicylic acid. You may not be able to use it more than once every few days. If you continue to have a reaction to it, stop using it.
