Spaghetti bolognese

ingrediants

  • 250 ml of chopped tomato
  • 500 grams of spaghetti
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • ½ onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • fresh basil leaves
  • Origan

for the meatballs

  • 400 grams of minced meat
  • 150 grams of ground bread
  • garlic powder
  • onion powder
  • Fresh parsley

Preparation

Put a saucepan on the stove and heat up a generous drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. When it is hot, add the minced garlic clove until it is hot. Then add the onion and let it dry. When the onion is translucent, add the crushed tomato and lower the heat. After a couple of minutes, add the salt to taste together with a tablespoon of sugar to eliminate the acidity of the tomato, and a little oregano and parsley. Mix everything well and cook the tomato for 15 minutes over low heat.

In a separate bowl, mix the ground beef with the garlic and onion powder, and season with a little parsley and salt to taste. Also add the ground bread to the meat and form meatballs. Put the extra virgin olive oil in a pan and, when it is hot, place the meatballs, cook for 5 minutes. Then add the tomato sauce and finish cooking over low heat. Separately, cook the spaghetti in a saucepan with plenty of water and salt to taste. When they are al dente, drain and pour them into the Bolognese sauce pan so that they absorb all the flavor of the meat and tomato. Add the parmesan and fresh basil before serving.
